For the version check, run

/usr/sbin/apachectl -v

To start the server, run

/usr/sbin/apachectl start

or

/usr/sbin/apachectl -k start

To stop/restart the server, type

/usr/sbin/apachectl -k stop

and

/usr/sbin/apachectl -k restart

For the status report, run

/usr/sbin/apachectl status
