Ryan is a former Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and is now a staff member at Sandia National Laboratories. His research is on dislocation dynamics and work hardening in face-centered cubic metals. He is currently working to develop efficient time integration schemes for three-dimensional dislocation dynamics simulations and models for simulating solid solution and precipitation strengthening.
Ryan is a former Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ. See his [https://mse.rutgers.edu/fac/ryan-sills/ profile page at Rutgers] for current information.
