People in California don't know how to drive in snow or in rain.
This is especially important for students who first learnt their driving in California.
Checklist for driving in snow (or after snow):
- rent a car that has 4 wheel drive
- put on snow chain or snow tire
- do not use break when your car is skidding
- be aware of sharp turns - ice may exist under ths shadow
Checklist for driving in rain (or after rain):
- keep a longer stopping distance from the car ahead
- if another car cut-in in front of you, maintain a longer stopping distance again
- turn on head light
